La Colección UNIVERSO ULTIMATE MARVEL consta de 1096 Cómics y está dividida en 4 volúmenes. Son, en total, 13,5 GB de archivos PDF. Casi nada.

El Universo Ultimate reedita y actualiza a los principales superhéroes de Marvel como son Spiderman, X-Men, Cuatro Fantásticos, Capitán América, Ironman, Hulk, Ojo de Halcón y el grupo de los Vengadores (conocidos aquí como Ultimates), entre otros.

Este nuevo universo y línea editorial fue lanzado en el año 2000 con la idea de reiniciar a los personajes y adaptarlos a los tiempos modernos, así como suponer un nuevo punto de atracción para nuevos fans, ya que este universo quedaba libre de los múltiples años de enrevesada continuidad que tenían los personajes originales a sus espaldas, dandole un toque de frescura y facilitando así el inicio a estos cómics para los nuevos lectores.

Las historias de las diferentes cabeceras mencionadas contienen historias que suceden en una misma realidad y que se relacionan entre sí. Así pues, se ha de seguir un orden de lectura para comprenderlo todo correctamente. Es por ello que los archivos se han organizado y numerado en orden de lectura, para disfrutar aún más de la experencia de adentrarse en este universo superheróico.

Se han incluído, además, las historias pertenecientes a otros universos paralelos que están en relación directa con el Universo Ultimate. Dichas historias están perfectamente diferenciadas con el indicador «PARALELO» para que se vea claramente que no son Ultimate, y para que, quien quiera saltárselas, lo haga. También hay otros archivos con la palabra «COLISIÓN», para las cabeceras provinentes de otros universos, y están en el evento final de la colección.

Los archivos que están marcados con una (X) se refieren a historias que no encajan con la continuidad del resto de Universo Ultimate y han de ser leídas más bien como anecdóticas sin buscarles una explicación concreta a los hechos que suceden en ellas o una ubicación exacta en la línea del tiempo. También pueden ser simplemente números editados sin historia concreta, como guías de personajes y datos.

Es una buena iniciativa tanto para quien quiera empezar a leer los cómics de Marvel, y no sabe por dónde empezar, como para aquellos que simplemente quieren tener esta colección, en formato digital, más organizada. La mayoría está editado en España por Planeta y Panini, pero no lo encontrarás tan organizado como lo está en la colección que te ofrecemos.
